President Bola Ahmed Tinubu hosted the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, his brother, Adedeji Adeleke, and Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, at his private residence in Ikoyi, Lagos.
The visit, on the evening of Tuesday, ahead of the Eid el-Kabir (Sallah) celebration, was shared by Governor Adeleke on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.
“This evening, alongside the scion of the Adeleke dynasty, my elder brother, Dr. Deji Adeleke, and my nephew, whom we are immensely proud of, David Adeleke, popularly known as @davido, we paid a courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his Lagos residence ahead of the Sallah celebration,” the governor said
While the specific details of the closed-door meeting were not disclosed, the visit follows Davido’s earlier meeting with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja just days before, indicating ongoing engagements between the Adeleke family and the presidency
