The company thanked customers for trusting its platform for morning commutes, visits to loved ones and other journeys, while acknowledging that its departure could disrupt their routines.
Uber apologized for the inconvenience caused and said its Help Centre would remain available until September 23, 2026, to assist customers with any final account-related inquiries.
