The Rivers State Government has launched electric cars as part of an ambitious plan to transform transportation and reduce costs for residents.
The initiative introduces fuel-free vehicles capable of charging in five hours, covering up to 80 kilometres, and running for days on a single charge.
Commissioner for Power, Hon. Solomon Abel Eke, announced plans to establish charging stations across the state in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport.
He said the project will make transportation more affordable and efficient, emphasizing its alignment with the governor’s vision for innovation and sustainability
