President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sworn in newly appointed Commissioners of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
The commissioners took the oath of office at the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting of the day, at the State House, Abuja.
The swearing in ceremony followed introductory remarks by the State House Director of Media and Publicity, Mr Abiodun Oladunjoye.
The new INEC Commissioners are Mallam Tukur Abdulrazaq Yusuf, representing Northwest , Professor Sunday Nwambam Aja, representing Ebonyi State.
The President also swore in 2 Commissioner members of Board of the Code of Conduct Bureau CCB.
They are Ikpeme Kenneth Ndem, (Cross River State State)and Hon. Justice Buba Ibrahim Nyaure Rtd, Taraba State.
In attendance at the monday council meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu.
The Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, his Budget and Economic Planning counterpart, Atiku Bagudu and Information and National Orientation Minister, Mohammed Idris amongst other cabinet members.
The last Executive Council meeting held on the 5th of May, approved approved a Nigeria First economic policy targeted at prioritising the use of locally manufactured goods and services in all government procurements.
