The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has reaffirmed its commitment to delivering a world-class hospitality and conference facility in Yenagoa by December 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen critical infrastructure for Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
The Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, (FNSE, FIPS), gave this assurance today, while hosting stakeholders from Edison Properties and Megastar Technical and Construction Company during a one-day project management tour and workshop at the Nigerian Content Tower, Yenagoa.
Engr. Ogbe stressed the importance of completing and commissioning the project within schedule, noting that the facility is critical to unlocking economic opportunities and enhancing activities across the oil and gas value chain.
According to an earlier press release issued by the Board on March 3, 2026, and signed by Obinna Ezeobi, PhD, GM, Corporate Communications, NCDMB, the Radisson Conference Hotel Yenagoa is designed to meet international five-star standards and is expected to serve as a strategic hub for industry conferences, investor engagements, and high-level business meetings, thereby boosting economic activities in Bayelsa State, the Niger Delta, and Nigeria at large.
In his remarks, the Executive Chairman of Edison Corporation, Mr. Vivian Reedy, assured stakeholders of timely delivery in line with global standards and best practices.
The workshop featured presentations on project progress and hotel management by representatives of Radisson Hotel Group and concluded with a tour of the facility.
