The Senate has approved the request by President Bola Tinubu to approve the termination of the appointment of the Resident Electoral Commission (REC) of Adamawa, Sokoto and Abia States over misconduct. President Bola Tinubu has raised the proposed 2025 budget from ₦49.7 trillion to ₦54.2 trillion, citing additional revenues generated by key government agencies.
