Vice President Kashim Shettima has inaugurated the Management of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC).
The inauguration took place on Thursday at the conference room of the Vice President’s office, State House, Abuja.
The Management Team of the company was appointed last month by President Bola Tinubu in line with the powers conferred on him by the constitution.
Inaugurating the team, Vice President Kashim Shettima, who doubles as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the NDPHC, charged the management to ensure they carry out their task with dedication for the benefit of all Nigerians.

Speaking to Journalists, soon after the inauguration, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Jennifer Adighije, they had discussions on how to reposition the NDPHC by adopting new strategies.
“We are very keen on utilizing cutting edge strategies to propel the NDPHC to greater heights by ensuring that we come up with new solutions that will explore very fruitful market opportunities for us within the energy eco system,” the Managing Director stated.
She pledged that the management team will ensure that it bridges gaps that hinder adequate electricity supply.
“We understand the significance of adequate and quality electricity to all Nigerians and therefore, our top goal is to foster energy inclusion by bridging electricity access gaps to vulnerable Nigerians in underserved and unserved communities.
“This is our drive in line with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda for lighting up Nigeria,” she added.
