President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated the Lekki Deep Sea Port roads
designed to unlock vital routes for trade, agriculture, and regional connectivity.
Commissioning the Lekki Deep Sea Port Tax Credit Concrete Road in Lagos State on Thursday, President Tinubu underscored the importance of transportation infrastructure, saying it is central to the success of the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda.
The President highlighted that roads represent more than just materials such as concrete, steel, and asphalt, but are investments by the Renewed Hope government aimed at improving mobility, generating employment, and boosting Nigeria’s long-term economic competitiveness.
The President also flagged off Section ll of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the 7th Axial Road.
The newly commissioned roads include the reinforced concrete access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the Kano–Kongolam Road (Section II: Kano–Kanwar–Danja–Hadejia), the Yakasai–Zalli Road, and several others across Northern Nigeria.
The President flagged off other new road projects that are critical to fast-tracking the Renewed Hope’s broader infrastructure goals
