Nigeria has taken over the chairmanship of the Intergovernmental Group of Twenty-Four (G-24) from Argentina and will officially assume office on November 1, 2025. The country will unveil its Work Programme after due consultations.
Representing the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, the CBN Governor, Olayemi Cardoso, reaffirmed Nigeria’s commitment to strengthening the G-24 as a catalyst for inclusive dialogue and global economic reform.
