The Federal Ministry of Education has reinstated Professor Joseph Ikechebelu as the acting vice-chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (UNIZIK). The announcement was made in a letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education, Nasir Sani-Gwarzo. The National Economic Council (NEC) has given the governments of Kwara, Kebbi, and Adamawa one week to submit their reports on the proposed creation of state police. Judges at the International Criminal Court (ICC) have issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant, and Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif.
