The Nigeria Police Council (NP’) on Monday approved the appointment of the Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Disu, as substantive Inspector-General of Police (IGP). Disu, until last week, was the Assistant Inspector-General (AIG) in charge of Force CID Annex, Alagbon, Lagos, before being named Acting IG upon the resignation of Kayode Egbetokun as IGP.
