Tinubu finally moves to Aso Rock to ease traffic concerns
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has finally relocated to Aso Rock, the official residence of the President, two months after his inauguration.
However, due to ongoing renovations at the president’s official residence, he is currently staying at the Glass House, which is typically used as a transit accommodation.
Prior to this, President Tinubu had been operating from a private residence in Asokoro, which caused heavy traffic and public complaints due to security measures.
In response to the public’s concerns, he decided to move to the Glass House temporarily.
The official residence is expected to be ready for occupancy in August.
This timeline is similar to President Muhammadu Buhari’s move to the residence in 2015, which took place three weeks after his inauguration.
