The Member Representing Ndokwa East Constituency and Former Deputy Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. The empowerment which was part of the activities to commemorate the Home Coming of the Honourable Member, was held at Ndam Secondary School, Beneku Ndokwa East Local Government Area of Delta State.
While addressing his supporters, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, commended his followers and constituents for the love they have shown him over the years and for honouring his invitation.
According to him; “I’m most overwhelmed seeing you all here today. Today makes it 2years and 1month that we have not had a gathering like this. And I must confess to you all that, I’m so happy to see your beautiful and handsome faces. This shows that you all truly love me, because if you don’t love me, you will not be here today. And I love you all in Jesus name. Amen.
“I know you all have been hearing different news here and there and people have been saying so many things. But all I can tell you all is to remain calm. God is on the throne and He alone can direct each and every of our steps.
“2023 is in the hands of God and God will give power to whom He has chosen. Whatever name they are calling, please always remain calm. We are not in competition with anyone. I believe in God that, when it’s time, He alone will direct our steps and we will differentiate men from boys.
“My people of Ndokwa nation, please tell our people and those involved in the politics of pull him down syndrome to desist from it. Because he who God has blessed, no man can cause.
“Please take this message home to everyone that, when the appointed time of God comes, we are going to move from community to community, local government to local government to decide who will represent us in any of the elective positions across Ndokwa nation. We will move from Ukwuani, Ndokwa East and Ndokwa West to choose a representative that’s ready to identify with his/her constituents.”
Those empowered with starter packs, cars and cashes, by the Honourable Member during the event include; 10 beneficiaries who were trained on Computer Application and Web Development, 10 beneficiaries trained on Hair Dressing, 30 beneficiaries trained on Baking and Confectionaries.
Others are 12 beneficiaries empowered with cars, 40 beneficiaries trained on Fashion and Design, and 10 beneficiaries given Grinding Machines, and 100 market women empowered with 50,000 cash to support their businesses.
Akpe Faith, Odi Marvis, Engr MC Aghanomu, Hon Ujuwan Isioma and other beneficiaries who spoke to journalists, commended Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi over his kind gestures shown to them, just as they prayed God to direct and bless him in all his steps.
While speaking to newsmen, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi, said, the gesture is part of his efforts to making many youths employers of labour as well as appreciating his constituents for the love they have shown him over the past 2years.
He noted that those empowered on various skills have been trained with economically viable skills through the Ndokwa Youth Entrepreneurial/Empowerment Skill Acquisition Scheme (NYEESAS), hence they are empowering them with tools and in turn make them self reliant.
All what i did was because of God only, i did all with a very pure heart devoid of any political coloration, i was strictly obeying the mandate God gave me and that’s to raise giants and empower society.
To the lucky beneficiares, from those that received the twelve cars, to the one hundred and fifty youths empowered with various starter packs after their six months intensive training and the two hundred market women empowered, i pray for you today, may God use these gifts i gave you to open more doors of prosperity for you.
I love you all and may God bless us all.
